Another win for this little strawberry! This was the painting I never meant to make, actually. It started as just a color-matching exercise panel, but once the colors were mixed I decided to keep going and use the entire panel as a reference. I'm so pleased it's found its way into a few exhibitions!

​So pleased to announce that my self-portrait, “The Journeyman”, has been selected as one of ten portrait finalists in the Almenara Art Prize 2023 and was invited to exhibit in Córdoba, Spain!

Almenara received more than 2,500 entries from 63 countries around the world. I’m so honored to have been selected as a portrait finalist!

​A few of my artworks have done well in some recent gallery shows!

Galleries often have unique themes for their exhibitions that turn out to be a good fit for one of my works. This time, it was Blue Koi Galleries “Mystical Wonders” show! I chose to enter “The Dryad’s Spirit In Sunder”, a drawing from my time at ÀNI Waichulis back in 2021. A depiction of a tree spirit from Greek and Celtic mythology, this piece won FIRST PLACE in the exhibition! Thank you to Blue Koi Gallery for the opportunity to exhibit and for this generous prize.

Some other recent wins include:
• “Portrait of Olive” won a Bronze Award in Camelback Gallery’s “All Animals” exhibition
• “The Tale of the Curious Oysters” received an Honorable Mention in Ten Moir Gallery’s “Sea Inspirations” exhibition
• “Spellbound” received and Honorable Mention in Teravarna Gallery’s 6th Figurative exhibition
